John Wesley Green, 80, of New Palestine, passed away Tuesday, May 15th, 2007. He was born April 1, 1927 in Hanville, TN to the late Robert and Alice Green. He served in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force during WWII. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Anna (Flora) Green; sons, Thomas, Travis, and John II; daughters, June, Rosemary, and Valerie Pratt; fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter, Constance; and brothers, Louis and Benton; sisters, Hattie, Lorraine, and Estell.Visitation will be Sunday, May 20 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Christians United Soldiers Memorial Chapel. A second Visitation will be Monday, May 21 from 10 to 8 p.m. at the Chapel. Funeral Service will be at Northeast Church of Christ at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22nd, with visitation starting at 10 a.m. Pastor Richard Freeman will be officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklandon Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
